Amphibian Foundation offers all ages programs throughout the year at the Amphibian Foundation, and other locations in the greater Atlanta area. We love to engage with our community, and most of our all ages events are free. Our all ages events are listed here.

Critter Parties!
The Amphibian Foundation can send our experts to your party with amphibians and/or reptiles, and lots of fun facts and knowledge to share. You even get to pick which animals or types of animals you would like to party with!

Atlanta loves Critter Parties! We know this because we do Critter Parties almost every weekend. The interactive live demonstration and holding lasts for 45 minutes or so, with an additional 10-15 minutes at the end for pictures (and maybe a little extra holding). Critters & Canvases
Once each month on Sunday
Join us for an afternoon of painting at AF! Critters and Canvases is a guided painting experience for children and families, ages 6 and up. In this class, our Educator Phoebe leads the group in creating a painting inspired by one of our critter ambassadors. Each month, you'll learn about a different amphibian or reptile and create a unique piece of art! The class begins with a brief lesson on a specific critter. Afterwards, everyone joins the instructor for guided painting. If time allows, the session concludes with supervised handling of the featured critter. $45 (includes all art supplies)

Atlanta Science Festival
Every March
The Atlanta Science Festival, a weeks long celebration of science in Atlanta, is one of our favorite times of year! That's because we get to share our passion for amphibians with the community, talk about what we have been up to recently to save frogs and salamanders, and how we all can help. Biology of the Despised
During our Biology of the Despised series, we highlight a species native to our neighborhoods, which is also misunderstood, maligned, or downright hated.
Salamander Stroll
Since 2014, we have led the community on an annual Salamander Stroll, to take a gentle peek into restored salamander habitat, right here in metro Atlanta.
Behind the Scenes Tour
During our Behind the Scenes Tour, we open up our labs and facilities to the public for a rare opportunity to see what goes on behind the scenes at AF.
ASF Science Expo
We always love to come to the Atlanta Science Festival Expo on the last day of the ASF, with some of our most popular animal ambassadors, to connect with our community.

Amphibian Week is a week long celebration of amphibians, which occurs on the first full week, each May. AF is a founding partner of Amphibian Week, where we work with dedicated global partners to elevate awareness of amphibians and global amphibian declines. Join us!

AF's Annual Open House is our chance to share all the work we have done over the year to save amphibians, give the community the opportunity to see our facilities, meet our staff and partners, and meet our amphibious ambassadors. We also have an amphibian art and photography exhibit — the Ribbit Exhibit — other gifts and merchandise available as well.
